We would like to let you know that we have added another category to our website menu that explains Karen's extensive work that she has done over the years using CranioSacral therapy with babies.
This is an extract from the page:
'Birth is a journey that can be challenging, even the birth that seems totally uncomplicated can bring its problems. For the Mother there can be issues around the physical body such as restrictions in the pelvis or spine. Imbalances created by the positions of the birth. Emotional issues related to bonding or trauma around the feeling of being out of control, not listened to, or fear of the safety of her baby.
For the baby the journey down the birth canal can have put pressures on different parts of the skull or body. This can create subtle tensions, shock or trauma that then impact on how their systems function. This can affect their feeding/latching on, their sleep patterns, startle reflex, ability to lie flat on their back, response to being in a car, reflux, change in position among other things.'
Through the use of CranioSacral Therapy Karen has seen such a positive impact with babies and she is now wanting to expand this service to reach more babies and their mothers.

What an incredible summer we have had. So as we enjoy the last few days of August our mind starts to move towards September and how we will gently and gracefully move through the latter stages of the year. Our next offering of Whispers of the Heart will be on 29th September which is a Tuesday. We have again been offered the beautiful Carthouse at the Fold, from our yoga teacher Freya, so we hope that date will be OK for you all. Please spread the word to anyone you think would enjoy joining us. The first session is always free as a way for people to see if it is for them. These sessions make our hearts sing. The depth of authenticity, rawness and love you all bring to the space fills us with such gratitude and is what makes these beautiful co created evenings so powerful. We so look forward to us all being together again.

Our Medicine Festival Experience 2026
Last month we spent 5 days at the wonderful Medicine Festival in Aldermaston, Berkshire. It was a totally inspirational experience that validated the essence of our work. As well as all the music and dance our focused centred on the connection to this land to our sacred indigenous myths, stories, lores traditions that we have in these sacred isles. Exploring the connection to our plants, trees, animals and the very heart beat of the land. One of the joys was to witness all the earthworks that had been constructed on the site it further fed our passion for creating mandalas as an earth prayer to the land. We normally do these at significant points in the year equinox/solstice etc and intend to increase our output as we now even further understand the power and connection they create.
